"Harajuku Is Dead?" – A KALTBLUT Exclusive Fashion Film & Editorial

We’re beyond excited to share our project—a KALTBLUT exclusive fashion film and editorial, capturing the essence of Harajuku street fashion through bold creativity and self-expression.

Shot in the heart of Harajuku, Japan, this project was brought to life by the talented Philippe Duval, featuring the incredible Rikarin & Little Voice (aka Curated by Girls) as models. Wrapped in Frammy Land raincoats and backpacks, they embody the vibrant, rebellious, and ever-evolving spirit of Harajuku.

As the designer and illustrator behind Frammy Land,  Gulsah Hamurcu, I'am deeply inspired by Asia Fashion, Kawaii & Decora Fashion, and Harajuku Kids. This project, ironically titled "Harajuku is Dead," challenges the notion that Harajuku’s unique fashion culture is fading—when in reality, it’s constantly transforming!

A huge thank you to Little Voice, Rikarin and Philippe Duval for co-creating this project with us. Your vision and passion made this an unforgettable experience!
